Teka Samuha Nepal is a Non-governmental organization based in Kathmandu. It was established in 1997 by volunteer youths with the aim of providing technical support to participatory development projects. Teka is formally registered in CDO Office, Kathmandu and affiliated with Social Welfare Council and District Development Office (DDO), Kathmandu. So far, Teka has provided technical assistance to many projects under Government and INGO/NGO such as; Tiger Rhino Conservation Project (NTNC/UNDP), UMBCP (ACAP/UNDP), TAL (DOF/WWF), KCAP (DNPWC/WWF) and TRPAP (NG/NTB/UNDP/SNV).
 


To ensure educational, socio-economical, cultural and environmental well beings of Nepalese communities by optimal utilization of local and national resources through maximum people’s participation.
 
  • Generate conservation awareness among the school children.
  • Design and deliver low cost, sustainable community development programs.
  • Flourish Nepal's culture, language and features among the world by running Volunteer Teaching Program. 
  • Provide volunteers to the local government schools to strengthen student's English capabilities.
  • Design and and deliver training and self-reading materials to fulfill the above mentioned objectives.
 
  • Alliance Against Trafficking In Women and Children In Nepal (AATWIN)
  • AATHI (An organization working against Domestic Violence in Women and Children in Nepal.)
  • Planet Foundation, Hungary
 

Contributing fund for the following purposes:

  1. Scholarship for poor students in the government schools.
  2. School support for maintaining school infrastructures
  3. Orphanage set up by Teka
